A filler I rather liked from my trip to Garstang on market day.
This is a lovely shop with as you can see a very welcoming doorway really inviting you to come in.
Please excuse my lack of participation at the moment & I will comment as much as I can later.
I am quite pleased today as I have discovered I am not falling apart as I thought but have a genuine ailment!!
Cathy rang me today to say a colleague of hers has the same symptoms as me & the doctor said it is caused by a virus.
My sore back which has moved round to the front & hurts so much when I breathe in is an inflammation of the lining of the lung....no treatment just rest & pain killers, hooray!!!
BTW thank you all so much for your kind thoughts re said back yesterday!!!
Three good things:
1. Have loved the coverage of the US elections which I watched on & off all night......more comfy sitting up at the moment!
2. Lying all afternoon on the sofa in front of the wood burner with no guilt!
3.Lydia has taken over my Mums old Singer sewing machine...she would be thrilled!!
Its quite comforting when an ailment has a name!! Poor you though, feet up and rest...........sounds ghastly ..lovely picture though and yes you must go in and see whats on offer!!
It's a very crowded doorway but inviting, as you say! Sounds a nasty virus you have picked up - hope it doesn't turn into a bad cough that hangs on! Plenty of Vit C!
Oh lovely! That virus sounds nasty but shorter lived perhaps than a muscular issue. Good for Lydia - I have some lovely material and an easier pattern to tackle another dress.
Looks like a great place to explore! SO glad you know what you have, and that rest should take care of it. Remember, two days to recover for every day you are down...and my other favorite mantra - "Better living through chemistry"!!! Feel better!!!
So sorry to hear you are under the weather Pat, it must be a relief to know what the cause of it is take care and make sure you rest. I love the look of this shop its just the sort I would like to have a look round .I am looking forward to going shopping again ,
@floralchick Hi Lesley this is the gift shop that used to be in the weind, the one with the sheep in front. She has now moved into the old solicitors on the High Street down by the Royal Oak. It is now called The Gooseberry Tree, xxxxx
Just now seeing this, Pat. Lovely shop, inviting indeed. Sorry to hear about your ailment but good to know you have a diagnosis and that you are on the mend. Take good care of yourself.
Oh, my goodness...so it's a virus that has you laid low. It sounds positively awful, Pat. I hope you are getting plenty of rest and are starting to feel better. I like @bpaquette's mantras. :)
