A bad tempered one at that!!!
Every time a boat went past he gestured with his hand to move on quickly, I suppose as he had to keep raising his fishing rod.
He was at a very busy part of the canal so I don't know what he expected.
I had my new lens on so was able to snap him without him catching me!!!!
Sorry this is a filler from a week ago but the weather isn't fit for ducks out.
Three good things:
1. A lovely unexpected visit from a friend this afternoon ...a cup of tea & put the world to rights!
2.I didn't have to go out!
3.I rang my mobile company about my bill today...am on a £7 a month contract & have been paying up to £15! Apparently I have been victimized by a Prime number firm & every-time they text me I have to pay £1.50!! This is what I have been told by EE...we shall see if it has been sorted!!! Back to Pay as You Go next time!!!!
Just looking at him you can see he is grumpy. His line could have got caught on an boat and pulled him in. That would have been the shot of the year. This is a lovely composition. You are doing well with your new lense.
Oh these mobile phone companies make me cross. Why do they allow these people to operate like that - it's downright theft!! I'll be checking mine next time! Love your grumpy fisherman and the background is great. Pretty wild here - your weather is on its way!
Funny shot and commentary Pat. I am constantly surprised by how many grumpy people there are in the world, who can't see past the end of their own noses! I thought fishing was supposed to make you calm, let the time to contemplate wash over you and make the world seem a better place. Obviously not for this chap!
Oh, that's funny...such a grump! Good thing he didn't see you with your camera aimed in his direction. No telling what his response might have been. It's unfortunate that he had such an ill humour as he looks a bit like Santa Claus taking a break before things start to get hectic. :) This is a fantastic candid shot, Pat. Love it!
Great shot with lovely colours.
Make them sort that out - or change to Pay as You Go (which is what I use).
