Valentines Day today & I was thrilled to receive this beautiful card from my little Max.
Hand made ( with a tiny bit of help) at Niake play group last Thursday.
It is a very long time since i received such a lovely Valentine card.
Three good things:
1. Grandchildren.
2. The hens are laying really well, we have a glut of eggs!
3. Confirmation that the GPS medical alert alarm we bought one of our sons for Christmas has been registered & hanging on his belt. A necessity for my peace of mind when he is in the ''wop wops'' in NZ with no mobile phone reception.
@judithg You have to only use it if you have exhausted every method of getting back to civilisation if you are lost, like two days in the bush or very badly injured etc, the helicopter will know exactly where you are & be able to rescue you. Device cost plenty of pennies ( or even hundreds) & if a necessary rescue you get it replaced but if they deem a waste of their time you have to buy another.
@happypat Worth it if you ever need it. It's been a terrible year for losses in the mountains this year (at least I've noticed a lot this year) - any help you can give the rescuers is good all round.
Like your 3 good things...know what you mean re peace of mind and children. My daughter used to work full time for UNICEF and was in places like Chad, Pakistan, Senegal... Lovely card. Obviously you are a well loved grandma
