Just sitting after lunch & thinking I had better get myself out to take todays photo when in breezed Tony the postman with a parcel for me...hand delivered right onto my knee!!
He sat himself down & I thought ah, here is my photo!
I didn't even get time to put the throw right on the chair after Harry had messed it up plus all the TV wires are showing for some reason! SOOC.
Although this photo has yesterdays date on this picture was taken today!!
Out tonight, weighing night first then out to a meeting, will try & comment a bit when I come back!
Three good things:
1. I have moved my winter clothes up into the spare wardrobe in the attic...ready for summer!!
2. I have discovered that the shower drain in the top shower has a centre that comes out completely to be cleaned!. After all this time of poking about I found the old plunger & as soon as I used it the whole thing popped out...brilliant & my word was it a mess!!! Unfortunately none of the other showers have this facility.
3. My youngest sons birthday tomorrow but we will ring him tonight as it will be morning in NZ. Happy Birthday Anthony! A May Day baby but they didn't have a holiday in those days!!!!
Who cares about trailing cables etc when you have the focal image ,in bright red attire ,& smiling into the camera !! I had not even noticed the cables till you mentioned it !!
Wahey - now that's service with a smile. Our postmen have to walk so fast under the new system that they barely have time to throw things at you. They must be really fit. We need that shower thingy - Nigel has been moaning about the drains being blocked with long hair - I blame Rachel :0). Good luck with the weigh in - I have been really good about not snacking and smaller portions and haven't lost an ounce. Adam tells me I'm not doing it right and should be counting..... Anthony just rang & I am too early with the date maggiemae , his birthday is Wednesday!!!! Inside the parcel was a shirt I have bought, I like it & it fits so has gone in my wardrobe ....filling it up again already!!! Same weight again this week, I was so disappointed as I had really tried, i always go to be weighed before my evening meal but as I was going out I had my tea so whether that made a difference . Only 3lbs to lose but the last bit is the hardest...I have had a chocolate eclair tonight too!
@judithg No weight lost this week Judith...see above!!!! Got muddled up with the dates too ...I think my mind is going........short of food!!

@happypat Well that'll definitely be eating and drinking - you can knock at least a pound and a half off! The last few are a nightmare though - Rachel said, 'You need to exercise and raise your metabolism mum - it's what happens when you get older.' Great encouragement! I was wondering about the 1st but I'm never clear about dates either - it's only 365 that keeps me on track!
What a delightful shot...and delivered right into your lap! Tony seems like such an amiable fellow. This would never happen with our postman ~ he's always so stressed and in a rush, usually with a scowl on his face.

What a beautiful portrait Pat!!! Isn't that terrific that in these days of endless rules, regs and red tape that the postman can actually drop your parcel onto your knee and be useful being the subject for the day!!!!
There is always a plateau one reaches on a diet and you remain the same weight for a week or two than it will start going down again! Weigh before and after a meal is a difference of at least 2 - 3 Ibs! Thus spoke the ex dietitian!
