A filler from Monday but I have had no time to take a photo today.
The bluebells are out at last.
We have been to the hospital today to see our niece but I had an altercation at a roundabout.
I heard a horn blow & didn't think anything of it but as we were queueing up to get parked at the hospital I noticed this car following me all the way round for about ten minutes thinking he was looking for a car space too so I was amazed when he got out & tackled me...verbally I might add!
He said I had been in the wrong lane coming off the slip road to turn towards Preston which was the lane the sign said to be in but he was in the left lane which was the road to turn left or onto the M6 so when he came up the left hand side of me he pipped his horn as he said I shoved him into the kerb where he lost his wheel trim!
Harry was in the passenger seat & he never saw him creep up beside me...a taxi driver & they do tend to weave in & out sometimes!!
He caught me at a bad moment in the pouring rain in a hurry to see Andrea but now I'm having second thoughts...i think I might go to the police station & ask them who is right...not paying if I was not at fault!!!
Three good things:
1.A new land line telephone.
2.Some much needed rain.
3. A Granny's Day card for NZ Mothers Day which arrived today!
BEAUTIFUL photo!
What a day. Get a life I say.....if all he thinks he's lost is a wheel trim. I think he's lost the plot! Be kind to yourself about it anyway! You were doing something important! Hope Andrea is doing ok. xx
@sarah19 Thanks Sallie..I wouldn't mind but he followed me for at least two miles ...I did give him a good verbal argument , the interesting thing will be to see if he can only get one wheel trim might only be in fours....am only paying for one !!!
@happypat your welcome Pat Dont let it get to you all being well when I visit your b&b i will bring you some nice flowers and wine for your Husband : - )
This is a gorgeous shot.
And you are such a good and honest soul. I can only tell you that I have a terrible time with the few round a bouts that I have encountered. I can't imagine that it was your fault. And most especially if he was the kind of guy to track you all that time. Rest easy - and do what your heart says will give you that ease.
A lovely shot of the bluebell wood. These motorist bores do get on my nerves. I often do a bit of give and take for other drivers but so many are so belligerent and determined to assert their so-called 'rights' - mostly men I find. Good luck with getting it sorted out.
Well if you were in the marked lane I wouldn't stump up anything! And you can ask them about harassment while you're at the police station. Nigel's just driven back from Blackburn in rain all the way only for me to say 'Hope it rains, my rhubarb's gone floppy.' Anyway it's obliging now! Haven't seen any bluebells yet so I need to get out & find some.
This is a lovely shot. What a horribe incident. I think you should go an ask about who was right , just for your own well being. I think even if you had made a mistake- and don't we all do- there is no reason stalking you like this. I don't know what some people are up to, to do such .

Sorry for the mass reply but have not done any commenting yet because I have been sorting the new phone out....I must be very thick because it has taken me an age to put a few numbers in the book & record an answer phone message...technology & me don't mix...mind it would help if I read the instructions!!
I think it might help if I had a second G&T tonight!!!!! LOL !
A superbly gorgeous scene so tranquil !! GREAT SHOT --A FAV So sorry to hear of your roundabout kafuffle -- these things really upset you don't they !! And to follow you that's the pits !! --nasty man !! Try not to dwell too much on it --easier said than done !!
Love the bluebells. Sorry to hear about your road rage incident. Some people think they own the road and they obviously never make mistakes themselves, ever! if you did any way.
4 good things - this fabulous shot. I'm sorry to hear about your altercations. Was he threatening and did he demand money? I once had someone pursue me after entering the A1 on a short slip road. It's always a difficult place to get out when it's busy. This guy followed me and when I stopped to let my friend out near her house he pulled up, got out of the car and started shouting at me. It was quite scary at the time. I locked the doors and drove away in the end and my friend didn't get out until later after we'd shaken him off. Try to forget it -it's just one of those things.
Horrid to follow you around - that would have really shaken me. Haven't driven for ages as we don't have a car at the mo, but I'm pretty sure if you were in a marked lane and he was coming past on your inside he's not blameless himself. I'm not sure I'd pay anything in those circs, unless I was sure I was at fault. But wise words from @cdonohoue - do whatever puts you at ease about it. Sometimes being 'right' is more trouble than its worth!
A really beautiful picture of the bluebells, the ones in the woods just near by are only just coming out. Sorry to hear about your nasty experience Pat. Also hope Andrea gets well soon
What a great spring photo. I love the curving path and curving line of bluebells. Well done - and sorry to hear about your episode. Some people are born rude - they can't help it!
What a beautiful shot. Love the slope down from the style and the little stream. A great composition and wonderful bluebell shot. Fav.
Sympathies on the road thing.
great bluebell woods shot - I need to find some time to get to my Mum's there is a great wood there...think they may all be gone by the time I've got a free weekend! Ah, I see your hubcap problem...always a tricky one...I'm amazed I haven't had prangs on roundabouts - always people where you are not expecting them...and others who think that even though it's called a roundabout want to go straight across instead!
What a day. Get a life I say.....if all he thinks he's lost is a wheel trim. I think he's lost the plot! Be kind to yourself about it anyway! You were doing something important! Hope Andrea is doing ok. xx
