Busy in the garden all morning. Harry dug up the first potatoes, I weeded the troughs & made a start on the weedy area behind the hedge.
We had a visitor from across the road, the little red hen followed me down the drive yesterday & came across the bird table...of course she has been back twice this morning & then jumped on the table.
Lily was happy to be in the sun & made one of her rare voluntary excursions outside!!
Cathy came for her lunch & did my feet for me even putting on some nail varnish.
We are out tonight at a farm treasure hunt.....always useless at the clues but will be a photo op! A lovely evening so will be very nice even though will be missing Andy Murray...perhaps better for the nerves!!
Slacking with the commenting today I'm afraid but so lovely outside..........
Three good things:
1. Feet all comfortable again.
2. First lettuce for lunch.
3. Beautiful weather.
A lovely idea to track the day with a collage - might try it myself some time! The little red hen makes me think of the tale for children which ends 'Then I'll eat it myself.' - or some such! Have a good photographic trreasure hunt!
So nice to share your day with you! Lucky to have someone to do your feet! That red hen might get into the vegie garden! The potatoes are a good size! And I like that little cobbled corner of your garden!
What a great way to record an eventful day! Wonderful collage - I checked it out on black to get a true appreciation of it all, and any one of those pictures would be wonderful as a stand alone shot.
great series of shots - I chuckled at reading "a busy day in the garden" whilst looking at a shot of you with your feet up!! :o) Sounds a great day. And you were probably better off not watching Murray - it was tense all the way...I spent a fair amount of time shouting at the tv!!
