A lovely happy evening with friends last night ( different from the day ones) having drinks in the sun at The Cartford Inn. This is a photo from a previous visit but I didn't take my camera last night so thought this would do to mark the evening.
Four of us sat outside in the sun & then were joined by three more until 11pm....we did laugh a lot!
Three good things:
1. A new mobile phone mast near our sons farm in New Zealand means we can text them...this is such a bonus for keeping in touch & convenience for them.
2. The final day at the Open Golf & as I write a British person in the lead!
3. George next door has helped me get back into my frozen email account.
Oh heavens - that wallpaper is stunning but what a bear it must have been to install! I had googled the Cartford Inn from a previous shot - looks very nice!!!
This looks so charming and cozy. Sounds like you had a delightful time with friends...always a good thing! So glad you will be in closer contact with your family thanks to that new cell tower...another very good thing! I was pulling for Lee Westwood on Saturday and Sunday...until Phil started making his move late on Sunday. Phil Mickelson has always been one of my favorite golfers. But I hope that Westwood wins a major at some point. He seems like a delightful guy.
And so good about the technology developments in NZ and at home!!
Hasn't the golf been exciting today!. Ian Poulter is a local boy so we were hoping he would win.
