Harry took these photos at the tractor pulling today.
I did not spend my day listening to roar of these engines although I could hear it in the distance.
A good day was had by all!!
Three good things:
1. All washing washed & dried outside.
2. A sitting in the sun afternoon.
3. A visit from my niece this morning with some freshly made anzac biscuits.
I think it would probably be appropriate to say that Harry isn't quite as adept as you at photography but its a good attempt for an amateur:) and a good camera too but you didn't let him use your canon then?
@barrowlane He he no way...he is improving his technique though he actually moved round to the other side as the light was better. He bought this camera last December for NZ & likes it ...so do I, it has a great zoom.
@happypat Yes I have one. It is a great camera not only a great zoom you can get so close to subjects and it will still focus. And another thing you can adjust setting on it which give you control over the photos you are taking.
What's all the black smoke - from tractors' exhausts or chimneys? You would need masks! Seems to be very popular judging by all the people there! I think its a good photo - and good entertainment!
Bed changing vs tractor pulling? Hmm, tricky choice! I think I may have just made a cup of tea and hope that the bed changing fairy would come and do it all for me- in fact that's what I do most weekend and then there's a mad scramble at bed time when the fairy never showed!! Looks like Harry had a nice day for it, it was lovely weather when I arrived in Inverness
@sparkle Full house so had to get ready for the next lot Juliette ...think of the money!!! Enjoy your time in Scotland & will look forward to your photos!
I'm with you when it comes to tractor pulls! Too much noise and smoke for me!
Now - plowing matches are different. They take skill!
Tell Harry he did a good job with camera.
