Face in the Window. by happypat

Face in the Window.

Can you see it....you might have to look large, I never noticed it until I uploaded the photo.
You wouldn't think this was the centre of London surrounded by high rise modern buildings.
Sorry I am flogging the London meet up shots but have nothing better today.

Three good things:
1. My re-covered chair is being delivered later this afternoon.
2. Great British Bake Off & a rather interesting programme called Fabulous Fashionistas on tonight.
3. Gloves out for the first time.
It looks as though it has been taken in a country village, yes I can see the face in the window Pat

Looks like a picture rather than a real face... how spooky! And how funny to see a cattle trough in the middle of London! Can't imagine why it isn't used and has been turned into a flower-bed! Sweet shot

@filsie65 It is a picture Phil...looks like a sort of 18th century man. I could see it better when I was processing. A bit creepy I thought.

I was going to say Pat that the face was not in proportion to the window !! and was going to suggest it was a was or toby jug !!
September 17th, 2013
@beryl It is a Toby jug sort of face Beryl but it looks flat to the window so not sure...good thinking though!!

Eerie. Great building and composition with the garden and fence and the face is hysterical

Well spotted! it does look like a picture but how strange to be there.
Lovely shot :)

Wonderful shot, but would not have guessed in was taken in the centre London.

@chris17 Haven't a clue Christine, we wandered along & as I am not familiar too much with London I wouldn't know.

It looks like Queen Mary actually - probably looking for someone to help her escape! I had to google 'trouch' as thats what it looks like on the trough! Google says no to trouch. I bet thats a nice little courtyard there behind the fence!

Well, I see two faces. One in upper left window ( looks like an old man) and then the girl in the upper right window that looks like a pic in the window , flat. Ghost in upper left?
September 18th, 2013
I love the building, and yes, I see the face
September 18th, 2013

Jo
Goodness well spotted both house and face, I don't remember seeing this building!?
September 18th, 2013
I love this house - looks like something from a cartoon where the big city's grown up round a country cottage! I did notice that face on Saturday - bit creepy!
September 18th, 2013
@chris17 Have been checking on the map & the sequence of the photos & am pretty sure this is Bankside Christine along the southern bank near The Tate Modern.

Great pic - I know exactly where this is! It's amazing how some of these old London features survive with all the redevelopment that's going on around there
September 18th, 2013
There's a weird dog trough placed randomly in the one way system near here - never any water in it so it would be nice planted. Loved Fabulous Fashionistas - absolutely inspiring.
September 18th, 2013
This could be downtown Garstang!!
September 19th, 2013
