One of my favourite shots of St Pauls taken last Saturday on the 365 meet up.
The For Sale notice spoils it & a cleverer person than I would be able to delete it but not me unfortunately!
Large is better if you have the time...many thanks for looking & taking the time to comment on all my photos....much appreciated!
Three good things:
1. Lydia is coming for her tea.
2. Some wood for the wood burner is on it's way.
3. Another 365 meet up is on the cards for Manchester.
Instant fav --Pat this is a stunning shot -- love the street & the tall buidings leading you through to the light & onto St Pau's Love the hues & tones making it almost a monochrome .
This is great - the view of St Pauls feels unexpected. I haven't got my version on my ipad - must have been rubbish and I deleted it immediately (can't remember that far back!)
Nice to see this in colour! I think I like it much better. There's an app called Snapheal that gets rid of unwanted bits in a photo! I got rid of a whole car!
Fantastic view. I love the flowers on the windowsill to the left. Adds character to an otherwise plain street scene. Not to mention the gorgeous bit of cathedral we can see. Altogether a very pleasing shot.
I feel bad about this joint thank you but I only have to turn my back on 365 for an hour & there are loads more to comment on!!! Thank you so much for the faves & lovely comments, you are all so generous! @maggiemae I will look out for Snapheal maggie sounds interesting!!
Nice that you could catch this without people. At first I thought the red and yellow sign was a KODAK sign - remember those?!?! They used to be everywhere.
I like it better this version with it being in color. I had not noticed the pretty flowers on the wall. Also even though I like the person in the other shot...she is the focus there...which is great for what you wanted to say in that photo....but this the cathedral is the star. nice to have both versions
Great pov here. I didn't particularly notice the sign, your eye goes straight through to the dome. Also the lovely flowers and the building detail round them pulls your eye in.
