I took my friend out for her lunch today at Barton Grange Garden Centre for her birthday.
A lovely lunch with a glass of wine each & we both had apricot bread & butter pudding & custard to finish with!
Christmas is in full swing there with every tree & decoration you could wish for, I think the colours get gaudier every year!!
I completely forgot to do @annemary 's challenge of taking someone at work after asking permission....next time I go out Anne Mary!!
Three good things:
1. A really lovely happy chat with my friend who has been so ill over the last couple of years & seems to be lots better.
2. As we came out of the restaurant we saw Jack who had just been for a second interview re a part time job there so fingers crossed!
3. The roof is covered with tiles & although not finished will be hopefully withstanding this torrential rain & wind.
Beautiful & bright display in a garden centre !!!-- but not for my home especially at Christmas I am very much a traditionalist with -Gold ,red & green in my home !!
Such a fun display of Christmas ornaments! Love the colors! I see some delightful fish that Harper would love.
Your lunch sounds wonderful, as do your three good things. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Jack and the job!
Haha - In your first blurb you didn't mention anything about fish -and I thought your lunch consisted of just wine and desserts. And that would have been a grand celebration in my book!
