I love Frank Sinatra's singing so this title immediately came to mind when I saw this plane flying towards the moon.
Sorry you will have to look large, pretty invisible unless you do!!!
Another day with no cards done but a lovely visit from an old childhood friend.
Thank you for all the comments on yesterdays photo even though I did no commenting whatsoever!
Three good things:
1. I was called 'honey' today at the check out!
2. I have untangled the outside tree lights after that terrific wind last Thursday.
3. A lovely mild winter day.
Beautiful,Pat , the song is now going round & round in my head !! Funnily enough I pointed my camera at the moon last night-- just hand held, by the time I found & mounted the camera on the tripod --the moon was behind a cloud and nowhere to be seen !! I have not uploaded my moon shot yet !!
Fantastic shot of plane and moon. Learnt from @tishpics that the moon is new and increasing and when you can see the shadow of the other half it is said timid the new moon with the old moon in its arms. I am being called love and honey now, does that mean I am getting old?
can't beat a nice bit of swing Pat.....we are going to a local concert this weekend.....my daughters former music teacher runs a swing band and they are playing locally....a shot worthy of your 365 Pat :)
Terrific capture! I haven't started the cards yet either. But Tuesday promises to be a snowy day--a good day to stay in, put on holiday music and get the cards done.
FAV...so cool to get this shot! do you ever run out of things to write on your '3things'? I always love them and it really shows what a positive grateful person you are!
Certainly a great shot Pat. I am so envious of moon shots. iPad just does not extend that far!
Have had fun visiting a local street that has put up lights on over half the occupants. Looks amazing. Even got lights playing to music. The lengths people will go to!
Fabulous moon shot, Pat! And especially cool with that marvelous red vapor trail streaking across the sky in it's direction. Love this composition!
Being called 'honey', 'sweetie', 'darling' and other terms of endearment, is so common in the US south that I don't even notice anymore. :)
Ah . . love that song and all FS's songs too! Great capture - well done! I wouldn't mind 'honey' but 'my love' drives me mad - it seems just a bit patronising down here in Essex - although I loved being called 'love' when I was a student in Sheffield!
That would have been OK then!!!!!!!!!
