Harry went to visit his sister this morning & brought this red kettle back with him. She had been trying to get it to boil on the top of her wood burner but with no success.
We were luckier & it was soon boiling although we couldn't get it to whistle.
A day of almost constant rain so I was happy to not move from the fire. Have read my book. caught up a little with 365 & made a meal.
A pretty good Sunday I think.
Three good things:
1. Jogging bottoms for comfort.
2. Reading in bed.
3. Google.
Now let me see I am jealous of your wood burner, hmm this is a difficult question....................................Oh hell yes! Love this shot, just one small thing I am not in it!
Maybe it's best that you couldn't get it to whistle. Those whistling kettles used to be like nails on a chalkboard for me years ago! Such a lovely homely view, Pat. So very inviting!
Love your 3 GT, especially the jogging bottoms!! Lovely shot with the red shiny kettle popping (if not whistling). Yes wretched weather, must check the week ahead.
What a cosy shot. We have a woodburner fire too, but it will be a while before ours is lit. Probably not until about the end of May before ours becomes operational.
You can't beat a real fire in this weather.
I'd love one of these .....was visiting friends of mum and dad's when up with them on Saturday and they had their kettle boiling just like this! :)
