The Apple Store in Glasgow was a very impressive building.......lots of staff & buzzing with shoppers.
I was checking out ipads as I quite fancy buying one. Either the ipad 4 or the ipad air....liked the air better as it's much lighter & thinner but think the old ipad 4 would do me really.
Haven't decided yet.
Three good things:
1. A personalised gift from Emma Bridgewater arrived this morning in the post, just in time for a weekend presentation.
2. Masterchef has started again.
3. The rain has cleaned the road a bit....lots of mud from tractor tyres.
@chris17 I believe they are fantastic...will be so nice to comment on 365 by the fire instead of a cold office too...haven't decided which one to buy yet though. My heart says the ipod air but my bank account says ipad 4 will be enough!
I'm hunkering after a Mac Air as its easier to type on. Had an iPad for two years now and it goes everywhere with me! They have got a unique building here for their shop!
People walk with a purpose in Glasgow! I sent Emma Bridgewater as a Mother's Day gift - it's gone down so well that I didn't get told off for sending a present!
@judithg Zinnia is my favourite at the moment Judith, I love it. EB is always welcome in our house. They went out of their way to get the order to me in record time....so busy too at the moment with Mothers Day. Your mum would love her gift!.
@happypat on my ipad again.... I'm off to the States on my own - a little bit of work and quite a bit of having a nice time with friends (the same meeting we had in Puerto Rico but without having to go to a conference!) I'm only going to be there 3 days but 5 with travel. Always a bit nervous after @sparkle's ESTA disaster!
@judithg You will have a great time...it's the time on your own I enjoy...shouldn't say that really but you need me time. The travel is all part of it although I do confess to feeling more vulnerable now I am getting on!! You will be Ok when you set off! Enjoy.
Haha, a wonderful capture and have you decided on which iPad is the winner? That is quite an impressive building, people rushing around everywhere! :) x
Now that's a classy Apple store! Love the determination in the strides of the walkers. I love my iPad. It's one of the early ones, an iPad 2, I've had absolutely no problems with it so I can't justify an upgrade just yet. Good luck with making your decision on which to buy.
@peggysirk The only difference is the thickness & weight Peggy. As I will never hopefully buy another I am thinking I should perhaps buy the newest....I am trying to convince myself!!
@lilminimonka No decision yet Brianna.....waying up the pros & cons & I am a bit low with cash at the moment having just returned fro NZ. Might wait a bit then get the Air.
@peggysirk Wow Peggy so helpful thank you so much. I will digest this properly & I'm sure it will help me make the right decision. Just what I needed an independent comparison!
Wonderful photograph Pat! Superbly captured striding people! Do get an iPad Air, that's what I have and it's brilliant, so very light and I can do all my transferring of photographs and a touch of Snapseed when necessary so easily! I rarely use my desktop computer now!
Thank you all for your input re ipad...have pretty much decided to plump for the Air version. I know I will think 'why didn't I get the latest version if I don't as I will be using it so much. Can''t wait!
