I am having a busy day today & wasn't going to post until tomorrow but had to just share the good news...

Mummy and daddy duck returned today with eight remaining babies!

They were very nervous so I daren't get too near them so this is the best photo I could get, taken through the window.

They have grown quite a bit so we hope they have a better chance of survival - daddy was keeping guard.

Three good things:
1. The duck family returned
2. Friends coming tonight
3. I was given a very lovely orchid today

Oh my Pat, this has made my weekend. I had shown your duck photos to so many and told them the story and then had to tell them the crows had got them, made for some sad storytelling. Yippee for good news. 😊😊
