Side by side

Two snails sitting side by side caught my eye this morning ....funny how photos opportunities present themselves!

A family of four in over the weekend , they have been lots of times before so it was lovely to see them again.

Three good things:
1. It's raining this afternoon so we are sitting next to the Aga drinking tea & watching Escape to the Country.
2. House all tidy & fit for visitors.
3. Smiling.
It is amazing how we notice more taking photographs for 365, love your snails Pat..

Oh dear, these snails aren't going to be another sad ending like the ducks are they - I don't think I can stand anymore bad news.

I hope you do not intend serving your guests with " escargot " this weekend !! lol !! If these two are left alone --I wonder if you will have a colony of little ones soon ?? Lovelt capture Pat -- love the shell patterns against the concert background !

it cracks me up sometimes how the most simple things in just their natural state make for the best subjects. Love the colors and textures in this pic - nicely caught :)

@beryl ha ha Beryl......I wouldn't know how to cook them.....I have never tasted that French delicacy although I did eat mussels for the first time in NZ recently.
