Maypole time. by happypat

Maypole time.

Bicycles & Wheelbarrows weekend in the village of Scorton just north of Garstang.

Scorton is a delightful old village, very quaint with a village store, school, churches, small hotel & restaurant & a very busy garden centre & cafe.

The village was all dressed up for this annual celebration when I called in for a quick look.

Three good things:
1. Finished Half a Yellow Sun at last.....hard going in the end.....fabulous reviews & my DIL loved it but I was glad to get to the end!
2. Going out with Cathy tonight for a bit of supper in Lancaster while we wait for Lydia who is having a meal with friends.
3. Paper hankies for Harry's cold.

I have noticed since I started editing with Snapsead that none of my details such as camera or the date the photo taken come up on my Exif info....at least I think that is the reason!
What a cute town!

Very quaint and pretty. A very country tradition continued. (Have often wondered why some folk's details are not available and maybe you have the answer.)

How absolutely lovely! I have always loved the idea of a Maypole. I thought those statues/dummies were actual children in adorable bonnets. :)

What a gorgeous and quintessentially English shot. Love it, especially the inclusion of the bike. Fav. Ps I updated Snapseed on my iPad and since then I have lost all my camera data too.

Love the 'British look ' of this shot and I like your angle and composition

very traditional scene Pat and nothing in the image to date it (by that I don't mean your missing exif, I mean it could have been taken years ago) . Beautiful shot Pat.

With regards to your snapseed exif data loss I found this
