The train leaving from platform... by happypat

The train leaving from platform...

Such a miserable wet day again today I am using the last of yesterday's train shots.
Colour this time which I really like. An odd sort of angle that isn't ideal but the wall of the station bridge over the tracks is so high you can't see over so had to take this one from the side of some steps.
I'm not too keen on the bit of track in the bottom left corner but couldn't think how to alter it - cropping wouldn't work I don't think.

Three good things:
1. Good friends on 365 who help out with suggestions, @jantan for one.
2. Been and purchased some paint & brushes to paint some windows inside the house.
3. Harry & I went to the nurseries & bought begonias, geraniums etc to plant the water troughs & tubs. Not so many this year as last years have mostly survived.
Great photo Pat.

Don't think you need to worry about the bit of track, the red draws the eye.

@snoopybooboo thank you both....I would have cropped it if I could but perhaps it's ok.

love the colours and angle
love the angle and the bright colours
happy about the track, if you are feeling picky.. I'd think about 'burning' the tiny triangle of pale platform.. I suspect that's whats drawing your eye

Great photo and that looks a very nice train........we don't get that standard up here!!! I think those nearing their sell by date are sent to remote parts!!!

The track adds interest. Wonderful

Lots of shapes and designs for one to appreciate in this capture -- love the lovely solid train and then the more fragile looking metal work and then all the people = like ants crawling along the platform -- like your pov for this shot Pat ! We have also had a wet drizzly day -- this fine rain that gets you soaking wet !! So I went to a garden center to buy a few plants for the pots and tubs -- good weather to plant out -- so much moisture in the ground !

Great shot Mum. Love the red! A FAV

@floralchick thanks Lesley...I liked this one too x

I didn't notice the track first off, the red does draw your eye and then onto all those colours beyond. However the track lines up with the train roof, the lines of frontage then the roofing. I think all the lines bring it together without you realising.
