It's just absolutely poured down today .......water running down the paths in torrents. Much the same tomorrow unfortunately too.
Photo taken through the kitchen window at the height of the rain.
Garstang Agriculture Show Saturday which is a great shame.......the ground is quite dry so hopefully the water will have soaked in & they won't be too bogged down. So sad when all the preparation over the last twelve months & yet it might make a loss financially.
Three good things:
1. A lovely visit from our grandson last night of his own free will!
2. Ready cooked chicken for tea.
3. A bit of a lull in the B&B to draw breath.....nobody in until next week unless the baby comes before time!
Oh I remember it well. We've had no rain here at all - just a few drops and we could do with some, everywhere is so dry. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
You know how I said it was sunny here....well now the view out the window looks much like this....doubtful me and littlest will get out on a camera walk tomorrow now!
I almost did an identical shot today pat. Not that the view of our patio is similar, but the rain when i got home from work was of downpour status...wrecking my poor ladybird poppies :'(
We got caught in this at Scotch Corner - luckily we had stopped for a brief comfort break! Huge queues and Monty flatly refused to get out of the car - only gets out for beaches now!
Hopefully it will be ok for the agricultural show. Lovely when grandsons visit (not that I have any yet!), but I know the thrill my parents get when they pop in - grandsons seem to get really busy...
Lots of rain here as well in Shropshire -- the garden really needs it Shame it usually comes towards week ends !! Hope it will not be too much of a wash-out for the Garstang Ag. Show tomorrow such a shame when this happens when so much prep. and work is put into such Shows - A lovely shot Pat -- love your large patio area you have got --super !!
Well that lovely hot weather can't last in England! Got to keep the land green somehow but hope there is no flooding like there was last year, was it? Lovely clean and tidy area! Now wet!
