As you can see there were hundreds of tools for sale in Kenmare.
Rows & rows of chain saws, hedge strimmers, circular saws, socket sets....you name it there was one for sale. This is only a fraction of the stuff on sale, all up the sides of two streets!
I wouldn't have paid good money for any of it!!
Three good things:
1. Good news from NZ, our youngest son & wife have bought the farm they have been wanting...lots of hard work to get it right.
2. Five jolly ladies in for two nights.
3. A chat with my sister on the phone.
@busylady meant to say, the men were all loving all these tools but I wouldn't like to vouch where they all came from!! Not just Irish in the sellers but all sorts of nationalities....the Kenmare shop keepers had been very wary of them & some had closed for the day.
All the stall holders were going on to Tralee for the next three days.
First class composition. You have captured the bustle and merchandise with wonderful clarity. In your part of the world it is a "strummer", in mine it's a "weed eater" and across the ditch in the land of OZ it's a "whipper snipper"!
@julzmaioro Waitetuna Valley between Hamilton & Raglan Julz...about an hour & a half from the cave cafe. I'm surecwecwill still go there as we all love it.
