The heather this year is spectacular.......I took a little detour yesterday over the fells. I might have another trip tomorrow after bed changes...still looking for that exclusive prize winning photo before Tuesday!
I noticed @ruthmouch had taken some wonderful ones in Wales.
I am out tonight so posting early & commenting will be a bit thin on the ground. Full up with B&B since Wednesday so quite busy too.
Three good things:
1. A rather spectacular fall in the dining room this morning tripping over my feet. I did a sort of fall over twirled around half way through it & ended up sitting up perfectly straight between the bookcase & cereal table. The table lamp fell on the floor , the coffee pot stayed on the table just above me & the only thing spilt were the blueberries....I was not hurt at all, just felt a fool in front of five women!
2. Lovely being up in the night at 3.30 am & able to have a few words on FB with @sarah19.
3. The sheets & towels are drying beautifully in the wind...about 5 loads of washing & same tomorrow so we are relieved its a drying day!!
Lovely, idyllic scene. Glad you didn't hurt yourself, sounds like quite a fall! Pat I don't know anyone else who could classify 10 loads of laundry a good thing. You are truly an inspiration.
@teiko Ah but its great to see them blowing in the wind...I love meeting all the people & of course the money helps...usually all cash!! Thank you Emillie.
Did you fall from being woozy from your 3.30am catch up? Lol. No drying here today, been heavy showers all day, very miserable. Lovely shot here, the heather looks beautiful.
Another beautiful Heather shot.. wow,, like the ones with the sheep in the foreground, but crop out that fence in the foreground of today's one.. thank goodness you did not hurt yourself.. I had a slip/fall the other day with @dide while chasing sheep with the camera... Dianne was most impressed as I saved the camera first... no damage done.. just pride.. note to self wear better footwear while out photoshooting..
I like the inclusion of more heather in this shot! You will be chasing your tail in the next few days what with the photographic competitions and taking sheets off the line!
Your fall made me smile. I did an amazing fall in a shared open-plan office once - I fell over an open drawer into a big office fan which sort of spun me into a chair which then crashed me into a desk. It was the kind of thing you wouldn't have believed could happen. I too felt a fool...!
