A talented young violinist playing in the centre of Manchester yesterday.
He was playing for about two hours, attracting plenty of attention as you can see and playing with a microphone attached to his violin which amplified the sound beautifully.
You can see Jack in the white T-shirt watching with interest, he informed me that the gentleman was playing Pachelbel's Canon in D Major.
I fully intend to catch up on all commenting tonight!
Three good things:
1. A quick hoover round then a lime & lemonade sitting in the sun turning the first page of my new Red magazine.
2. Harry is going to BBQ tonight, I am not a great lover of BBQ's but if anyone is offering to cook I am all for it!
3. A big smile.
This is lovely with the light and the shade. That guy looks as if he studies music - not just a street player. Wish we had ears as well as eyes for these sorts of photos! Who had the big smile?
@maggiemae the postman maggiemae....I was just coming out of the house with a cold drink so I gave it to him instead! He was hot & at the end of his deliveries so he had a little sit & chatted. The violinist was definitely a music student or similar.....excellent to listen to.
@cejaanderson thank you Jane , this is not the part if Manchester I normally visit but we were off to Topshop & similar so lots of these artists & musicians about.
