Jack saw a friend in Manchester doing her fantastic drawings in the street. She's a freelance artist and was enjoying herself immensely; chatting to different people who stopped to admire her very talented portraits.
If you're interested in checking out her art then here's a link to her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/rebekahwilliamsonart
She was just a little further down the street than yesterday's violinist.
Three good things:
1. A very nice lunch out at the Applestore Cafe in Scorton.
2. I finished my book during the night, a couldn't put downer and free from the Kindle Lending Library. It was called Cry Baby, and was the oddest book I have read in a long time but rather gripping.
3. I love this late summer weather, warm sun with a slight autumn feel.
Great pov and great in b&w (it's the getting up afterwards that does me!!) I love this autumnal sunny weather too. When I sorted out my books I found one I couldn't read first time round but it appeals to me now - perhaps my reading mind has matured......
Great portrait on location. Like your 3 things today. Especially the book. Quick look on here then my book is calling me. Know a good book when it calls to me. Calls to be picked up and read, when the characters and story are shouting hey don't forget us... Do books call out to you?
She looks like she is explaining something to - is it Jack? Imagine being that confident about your own artwork to show it like this! Lots to see in this shot. I googled this book and it sounds a bit daunting but hope it had a good ending!
@maggiemae yes she was having a good chat to Jack...in the same class in school so they are good friends. Pencil drawings of faces, they were excellent! The book was very originally & a bit gruesome...American crime novel but it was free on Kindle....great reviews & I might read another of his.
@beryl I should have got a shot from the top but never thought Beryl, I just put my camera on the floor...chopped Jacks head off but know that it doesn't matter if you do that now! We learn lots on 365!
@quietpurplehaze sometimes our reading tastes change so much Judith....I now like much more serious deeper books interchanged with lighter fun novels! This was a crime novel which I don't normally read but great reviews.

Great shot Pat, We have got the local Art Festival on at the moment ( have entered some photo's) and the young talent on display is amazing... I think as you get older you over think and take too many precautions ...
@happypat Thanks Pat --just had a look !!--I love pencil drawings and these are stunning - the bearded old man with the twinkle in his eyes really caught my eye .
