Armageddon

I have no idea why that title came to mind when I saw this photo. I know nothing about the film except it is a science fiction film.
Taken this afternoon, looking south towards Blackpool from Clevelys.
It is possible to see Blackpool Tower in the distance if you look very closely. I think the cloud formation made me think of a city on the horizon.

Three good things:
1. Today's film was What We Did on Our Holiday with Billy Connoly. We really enjoyed it ....the kids were amazing & for a guy with Parkinson's Disease Billy was incredible......between them they made the film. The Scottish scenery was just beautiful too.
2. Bake Off tonight.
3. I don't know how I did it but when we came out of the cinema I noticed every window in my car was down....nothing was taken & it hadn't rained! I am going to the garage tomorrow I will ask them how that could have happened.

The cloud formation certainly has that sci fi look and are quite threatening. The strong tones in b\w give it that look too. Maybe that gave you the feel. Great composition.

A great capture with those threatening clouds and rough seas -- sounds a good title to me !! Quite disturbing to find your car with all the windows open !! spooky , but fortunate that no damage , no rain and nothing was taken !!
