I went out to Cathys house & forgot to take my camera again.....the whole idea of my project is to take any photo oportunities during the day that I come across but if I keep forgetting my camera this is not going to work!
I passed a steam lorry on my way...it was belching out black smoke & would have made a great picture....ah well!
Cathy had made some damson jam so after our fish & chips I had toast & homemade jam!
Three good things:
1. The simple foods are the very best!
2. Lydia is decorating Jacks larger bedroom, she is going to move in....making a really good job with the roller today.
3. Lovely remarks in the visitor book.
@fueast he he they have a lid glued together Alison.....I love that T Green ware.i once bartered a three night B&B stay for some seriously old examples of this stuff. One of my B&B chapters wanted to give me some his mum had...I exchanged for a free stay.
Yummy !! --Damson is my favourite home made jam followed by Rhubarb and Ginger !! This is so mouth-watering especially as I have not made any home made jam for years !
@judithg no he is having her smaller room Judith....quite happy to swop. This is corn bread from the bakery...delicious...toasted here though you can't tell.
We get given jam by an industrious friend - guava is the latest and looks like plum. On John's toast over the weekend ( I normally have peanut butter and marmite - not together) I actually forgot my camera for the first time going out the other day!
