A strange mushroom at the end of our drive......I have no idea what sort it is but its big.
A little house for small people perhaps if you have enough imagination!
Just thought to mention did anyone else hear 365 project mentioned on an advertisement for O2 on channel 4 the other night? I am sure I saw two people checking an iPad & saying about looking at 365......I only took notice when I heard the words....have been watching for it ever since!
Three good things:
1. Amazing architecture in the world. We are just looking at the venue for the ATP tennis tournament in Valencia Spain...a remarkable building!
It reminds me of a harp.
2. The woodburner on for the first time this year.
3. I have managed to fit two camp beds & a travel cot together with a double bed in the top room.....we have no need to give up our bed!!
It is certainly a house for little people with even a window or two on the side --I should keep an eye on this and visit at night to see if there is light in the windows !! lol !
It's amazing what we can find and how 365 has opened our eyes to all the wonders of nature .
Clever girl , to rearrange furniture --I wouldn't want to be turfed out of my own bed at this time of year either !
@beryl@denisefuller@busylady I will creep out tonight & inspect for lights !! Glad you could see my thoughts! Will check Rosie's Judith. My busiest weekend Beryl....next to last weekend of Blackpool Illuminatins & half term.....all goes quiet after this!
I have a 365 friend who posted a similar one and called it an ink cap mushroom. I don't know if that were her name for it or its real one. Here it is: http://365project.org/vegansusan/365/2014-10-21
@newbank I have read A Thousand Splendid Suns & loved it...I have The Mountains Echoed as a sample....started it & got distracted ....it's God then...must try it again . Next book I read will be that one . I am reading a free one off kindle Library at the moment .....a pretty weak book but am persevering. If you liked it I sm sure I will....have heard really good reviews.
We spent a whole day at this Valencia venue - it is worth a special visit. Quite incredible! I bought a small medallion there that I wear around my neck. Sweet mushroom and definitely the home of a gnome!
It took me about 70-100 pages to get into it, thought it wasn't going to be good but once into it it's in my opinion really good. Just a bit slow starting but the depth of the story is wonderful now. I'm just over half way and loving it. It's for me one of those books I just don't want nap time to end for! Or I'm sneaky reading a few pages whilst littlest cuddles on my lap. Do try again and I hope you enjoy it. Well worth getting past the first bit.
I remember them going on a journey & then I seemed to get a bit lost....I have properly bought it now on my kindle so will have to read it....I am sure I will enjoy once I get stuck in. Thank for giving me a nudge!
Love your fairy house Pat. You need to befriend them perhaps they will fly in during the night and do some jobs for you. Ahhh just remembered it was the elves who helped the shoemaker. Oh well!
