Eight for breakfast this morning but all went smoothly.
Ann's funeral today so a sad day we never expected to have. She was fifty six & full of life.....love to organise everybody & was the best cattle handler I have ever met .
She never needed anything else but a bucket of cow pellets to entice any cow or calf anywhere she wanted it .
She will be sorely missed by her husband David & girls Lisa & Zara plus all her neighbours & friends.
A life well lived.
These are the alpacas grazing in the grounds of the hotel we went to for refreshments after the funeral.
Community of family, friends & neighbours at times like these are the best good thing.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Family, friends and fluffy friends are certainly needed. Love the hairdo's on these. Poppy had a mop a little bit like that when she was young. Cute.
Just love their expressions! And I'm sure they made you smile after your sad day today. Sounds like you will remember her for a long time to come for all the good things she did!
Cute pair in the photo! What a lovely way you write about your friend. Never easy to come to terms with the empty space when they have added so richly to the lives of others.
@sarah19 will really miss Ann Sallie...she was always round at our house.....unfortunately the funeral didn't go smoothly as they dug up the wrong grave.......we had to sit in church for an extra half hour listening to music while the dug the right one next door! Was rather distressing for all. Ann would have been furious they had made a botch!
The alpacas are great, a bit comical even.
56 , that is no age at all . I am 57, that is seriously scary !
The last line of your narrative is lovely x
