Winter candles

Not only do all types of fir tree look beautifully green throughout the winter but some of them have fantastic cones & lovely candles.......
Just trying my new lens....early days yet!

Three good things:
1. A lovely talk to my sister & niece.
2. A beautifully clean car, the same chap does it every time & he makes a brilliant job of it.
3. More Christmas presents bought....not sure when the NZ deadline for posting is but its looming nearer & nearer!

A super shot and great capture of these candles ! I have never seen these but only cones -- Aah I have just realised that they are the remains of old cones !! ( feel rather silly !!!! ) Looks as if your new lens is doing good !!
