The joy of Christmas by happypat

The joy of Christmas

We have been entertaining today....all gone home now so feet up by the fire.
Church later then Strictly Come Dancing final.

Alex has gone on a night out to Lancaster meeting up with old school friends. I will go & collect her when she is ready for home.

This is Lydia bouncing down Buchanon Street on our recent trip to Glasgow.

Three good things:
1. Lots of left overs to eat up tomorrow specially rhubarb sponge & custard.
2. Sheep in everyone's garden this afternoon & for once not our responsibility!
3. Listening to our friends talking about the trials of farming ...we are so glad we are retired!
What a great photo. Fav.

Long legs and exuberance! The joys of being young and wearing short skirts! What a lovely road - all shiny and interesting with the bricks. A good photo in the night with lots of colour and focus! Rhubarb sponge is almost as good as rhubarb crumble!

I love how all the elements of this photo contribute to the festive feel--of course Lydia in her exuberance, the overall golden glow, and the busy-ness of the crowd.
