This ironmongers shop in Kirkby Lonsdale always has this display outside their shop whatever the weather....reminds me of the TV programme Open All Hours.

1. A refund paid with no quibble after being overcharged for our meal last night!
2. The little football teams getting their chance in the FA cup.

@busylady really well Judith I was so pleased for them because even if they lose next time it's money in the coffers! Small clubs have done well today too!
I used to live in Casterton and had an elderly friend who maintained you could buy anything you wanted in Kirkby Lonsdale as long as you were prepared to wait! Lovely capture Pat.
Great to see a scene like this! I always think though, that its a bit of work when they shut down, bringing it all inside! I wish my hanging baskets looked as good as these! They require so much watering! It pays to look at your receipt at the end of a meal!
@maggiemae You are right about looking at the bill.....therecwerecsix of us & didn't give it as much attention at the time so only noticed this morning that we gphad been charged for a bottle of white wine & three other drinks! I went back with the bill today & they knew about it as the people on the next table hadnt been charged any drinks, so all well in the end!
