I wonder where all the Tower poppies bought by so many people are resting?
This is mine sitting in the little trough by the outdoor chairs....I see it every time I look out of the kitchen window.
Three good things:
All B&B's present & correct last night & all paid up this morning!
2. Songs of Praise....I just love that programme.
3. Learning a little about Aldeburgh in Suffolk. A county I have never visited but the whole of my daughters in law family are staying in a beautiful house there for a week. Cathy says it's a lovely place & the house looks fabulous.
A lovely sight on a lovely day -- so wonderful that you have placed your poppy where you can see it whether in the kitchen or outside ! I am sure a lot have been put in a safe place and out of sight !! what a shame
Your poppy looks lovely. Sadly mine isn't visible any more as everything has grown up around it. I will have to move it for the summer. I love Songs of Praise too but usually record it and watch it later. I'm usually making dinner or bust in the garden when it's on.
The chair is nicely placed beside the scented lavender and the book on the chair looks as if you have just put it down! Love to know more about the Suffolk house!
how lovely to see your poppy. We have ours all ready to take home to Australia. We had it delivered to our sons home in London. One of our friends in Sydney had two safely delivered. I think ours will stay in a vase in the house.
Love where you have positioned your poppy. What is it about lavender and terracotta they look so good together. Geraniums are the same. Your chair looks very inviting!!
What a great idea to ask the question Pat. My answer is today's posting.
I'm so sorry to have got so behind with commenting what with holidays, hip ops, family visiting, busy B&B weekends etc. I will definitely catch up.
That is so lovely! I hadn't thought of putting mine outdoors as it is still in it's bottle in the hall.............but now I'm going to have a look for a special place for the summer!
@chris17 Well mine was in its box too until last week but I had just had the thought to put it out while the weather was warm. I will take it in during the winter months.
