Rubbish

It's surprising how good a row of dustbins can look sometimes!

A street in the centre of Manchester.

Three good things:
1. My new coat kept me dry, warm & cosy.
2. Comic relief day was being celebrated in Garstang today......lots of funny costumes!
3. I picked up my school photo beautifully framed & fit to be hung on the dining room wall.

The bins are so much better than bags which cats and dogs get into and strew rubbish all over the street! Looking at all those large wheels, I feel like getting in one and going for a ride down this street! (not really!)

@kwiksilver They are for different types of rubbish Gillian. Not sure what the different colours are for here but we have all different colours for recycling paper & cardboard, garden waste, tins & glass & then General rubbish. You nearly need a degree in rubbish collection to sort it all out!

@maggiemae Yes they have wheels on so you can wheel them into place ready for collection. The household ones are smaller than these but we have different colours for different rubbish. Four bins in all & Harry wheels them to the gate on a Tuesday. In rotation every alternate week.
