No new photos today, we are grounded in the house as the weather is just terrible. Just starting to brighten up a bit now but we've had gales & torrential rain nearly all day.
Albert Dock in Liverpool on a late winter afternoon.
Three good things:
1. Quite a droll B&B chap from Liverpool staying with his wife & DIL ......he was funny in that great Liverpool way.
2. Taking a beautiful little dress from Boden to our vet & his wife who have just had their first long awaited baby.
3. The old fashioned word of pocket square used twice today in the papers & on TV.
A wonderful capture Pat , the weather is pretty nasty here ,but it sounds as it is worse up there with you -- lets hope Abigail will quickly go on her way - before causing too much destruction ! fav
Taken around 5pm and the lights are on - has to be winter but it's this month! So much to see thats interesting in the big cities of England! How nice of you to choose a wee dress for the baby!
@maggiemae It was just before we got on the coach to come home maggiemae. It goes dark here now about 4.30pm but another month & we will getting lighter & you darker!
Such a great shot. That sky is quite magnificent!
What on earth is a "pocket square"? The closest I can come, without googling, is a handkerchief? I've never heard this expression before.
@kwiksilver Yes a handkerchief Gillian! I have seen the word in a Beatrice Potter book but only then....a very old fashioned word but I think hankies sticking out of pockets must be the thing!!
fabulous light in the sky. Hope the weather improves for you. 38C for us here on Wednesday! Pity we cant swap a bit of warmth for a bit of your rain :)
Horrible weather and pouring rain here too.

I was thinking of you as I was watching the weather forecast!
