An afternoon spent at the hairdressers which was very nice. A bit of pampering does no one any harm! I feel respectable now in time for Christmas.
Helped clean the church this morning then we all went for coffee & toasted tea cake in the local cafe.
Three good things:
1. I have just had a phone call from John Lewis refunding my money, great relief as it was over £100. Many thanks to @bizziebeeme for telling me how to track the missing parcel & presenting JL with a signed for signature when they originally told me they had not received my parcel.
2. The semi final of professional Masterchef tonight.
3. A British man safely in space.
@newbank I really liked Joey the girl & thought her food so clean & refreshing. To be honest anyone of those first five last week would be good although I have a soft spot for the plumpy one with the bald head, can't just think of his name...Nick, Chris?
A lovely shot as you look in through the window .-- nice to have a little pampering just before Christmas -- My hairdresser came and did my hair last week and this week I have booked an app with the chiropodist (I have difficulty cutting one big toe nail !! ) so I will be topped and tailed before Christmas !! ha ha !! Glad things got sorted re your returned parcel to JL -- makes you feel so much more happy !! Yes ,it will be feet up and telly on tonight !!
@thistle Was mighty relieved I can tell you! The guy who rang up was a little on the defensive I must say! I'm not sure what wold have happened if I hadn't kept on at them & persevered because they were adamant the parcel had not arrived! He said sometimes things take ages to trickle through bug he had written to tell me no oracle had been delivered & it was the end of November so I am very thankful!

Thats a great idea - getting pampered! Might just do that as I need a tidy-up! Nice bright room with Christmas decorations! British man in space??? Who did they get rid of?
@maggiemae ha ha maggiemae.....a chap called Tim Peaks, been on TV all day! He's gone to inhabit Soyuz off six months which is the space station in the sky.
