I hadn't been in Lancaster for a long time but I needed to go to the camera shop with a query about a battery cover.
We took a walk up by the castle & I always really like this view looking down the narrow streets into town..
I tried not to get any cars in the shot so had to stand well back as a few cars parked just below the steps.
The castle wall is on the right.
Three good things:
1. Bacon, egg & sausage in Dingles cafe.
2. Harry did a bit of shopping for his holiday things.
3. Just got back before the rain set in.
Lovely Lancaster .....I have ano unusual necklace a day earrings that Allan bought for our wedding anniversary when we were last there. The priory is close by if I remember correctly. Lovely shot.
Love to see more of the castle! The houses here look rather drab and uninteresting but I suppose being near the castle have to be. Lovely brick courtyard! That sounds like a good lunch!
Such a wonderful view so perfectly framed by the tree and the castle. I love the old town houses that appear to be just a short distance off the terrace/courtyard. Are those private homes? Very charming looking neighborhood.
Full of old world charm. Great pov and textures in the brick and stone work. We have lots of moss on our stone and wood surfaces as well. Makes for nice photos.
