So many photo ops in Melbourne but no proper camera...the frustration of it!
This guy was playing in one of the lane ways, just a perfect chance to take a a really great photo but it's slightly blurred!
Back home again & my word we're feeling the cold a wee bit!
All unpacked & washing pretty much dried outside before some heavy showers descended.
I will be posting more photos from our holidays as they're a bit better than rainy Lancashire!
Good to be home though & its fruit & dry crackers for me as I've put on nearly five pounds in weight!
Three good things:
1. Meeting eight 365ers in NZ, some new ones & three old friends I've met before.
2. The lovely comments for my photos despite me not having any input on yours.
3. We arrived safely home without too much mishap....just lots of lost articles!!
Lovely composition and I like all the painting on the surfaces. Forget the added weight, you could cut your finger and toe nails to lose that extra weight. The main thing is you're home safe and sound. FAV
I'd imagine it would be difficult to get your camera to focus well on this picture of wigglies (including the Wiggly Cello Player)! What happened to your camera? Putting on weight just means you were able to enjoy all your great meals everywhere without feeling guilty! Watch this space!
@maggiemae Sand in the lens maggie, I never earn cameras & beaches do not mix! Good news is that Jack has found me an upgrade of mine on eBay for a very good price, body only, it's arriving tomorrow! Between you & me I have a feeling Harry's has sand in it too as I put his cMera in my case. Jack was shocked when he saw the sand in there.....Finn had a spade & the sand somehow got sprayed the way of the camera bag.
I just love this image, your camera may have been damaged but you iphone did a terrific job here. FAV
You seem to have dropped off my following list, I wondered why I hadn't seen you lately. I have just spent a lovely ten minutes following your trip round NZ, some wonderful photos and obviously a marvellous trip.
@judithdeacon Thank you Judith, I have been very lax, must check my list too, I'm always missing friends for some reason. They disappear of my list too!
Super shot, the blurriness just adds to the sense of movement. A friend of ours got sand in his camera but David managed to blow it out with the aid of his air compressor. Friend was relieved as he is an 86 year old pensioner who takes sunrise photos from the beach every morning.
Good to know you're safely home Pat. I've enjoyed your holiday! Love this picture the art work on the wall and steps is amazing. Love the way you've managed to capture the movement of the 'cello bow. Fav
@onewing our son in law has taken Harry's to work to do exactly that Babs but his isn't as bad as mine. I am not fit with cameras as I use & a use them. Mine has a cracked screen, missing bits off it & has been used daily for two & a half years so I di t feel too bad. I have got the next model up, just the body for a great price on eBay. Jack sorted it out for me. Good thing is it also means I have a spare battery which is very handy. They are really expensive so I have made do up til now but it's great to have a spare in the bag.

Welcome home.
