Very sad when I am reduced to taking pictures of the washing next door! I like to see washing on the line though so I liked the look of this scene.
I don't like washing that isn't pleasing to the eye though, no clashing colours next to each other!
Far too long with this plaster cast on my leg, I'm beginning to get a very narrow view of life!!
I can't think of any good things today, my mind is a blank but alls well with the world thank you.
I must admit, Pat, that I never think of colour co-ordinating the washing when I hang it out! (Don't think anybody can see it....) I'm sure your view of life will soon get wider. Xx
Well its a diary picture of how big those trees are at the moment and at least you got a good picture for the day! Hope that wretched plaster is coming off soon!
Oh my goodness - you'd hate to see how washing gets hung out here - especially if the boys call in and do a load. As far as they're concerned, as long as it gets dry that's all that matters! I have been enjoying your backyard and close by images.
Lovely to see a long line of washing blowing in the breeze -I always
remember my mum's snow white sheets billowing in the wind - but unfortunately I never had a long washing line ,but a "Whirly gig " washing never looks the same on these !! do they !
As my Mum used to say "Keep your chin up " -- only a few days until hopefully the plaster will be off !
I'm with you Pat things have their right place on the line .. pj bottom with tops etc. I have a old school long line that goes the width of my backyard. Looks fantastic billowing in the breeze.
Actually I can hardly see the washing, I think the country scene is much more noticeable and beautiful. I bet you've been reading some good books though! Our book group choice is terrible. Sad to say it was my choice but I shan't finish it. It;s Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell - the series about magic which was on TV not too long ago. 800 pages long and just a bit too dreary and heavy for my liking.
Oh Pat, I know exactly how you feel. Not much longer now though surely. I hope you don't have any problem walking when the cast comes off. It took me a long time to be able to walk properly when my cast came off my ankle. Damaged the tendons I believe. I walked like an 'old person' for about 3 months. Not ready to be old yet.
One good thing - the weather was nice enough for your neighbours to be able to hang out their washing. And another good thing - you're another day closer to having your plaster taken off. The third good thing would be: alls well with the world! ☺
@onewing That's what I'm worried about Babs! They say you have to learn to walk again but am hoping mine will be ok. I can move my ankle inside the plaster & it wasn't the main tibia so hope I get off lightly! I am prepared for swelling & more pain but hope to be able to put a highish heel shoe on for a wedding on the 4th June!
