Clitheroe

A run out to Clitheroe today, we had our lunch out & a walk up to the castle.


You can see the high street with all the flags flying, there is a food festival taking place in early August.

Lots of very nice dress & shoe shops in Clitheroe, luckily they were all shut!

Three good things:
1. No car parking fees on a Sunday.
2. Called in to see Jack as we came home & he checked out my camera lead, it seems to be working OK at the moment & I have a couple of options if it stops uploading again.
3. Left over food for our supper from Cathy's after their party last night.

@jmj It was a climb Jennifer but my ankle is much better now & I can walk further, it was a great view near the top.

@happypat Although I lived near Kirkham for a while as a teenager, I can't ever remember visiting Clitheroe. Glad you're ankle's improving.

Great view of Clitheroe - nice familiar sight - know it quite well as my husbands parents lived just outside Clitheroe.

Wonderful view Pat. How useful to have Jack to sort your problems. My son sorts mine but he's never around! He's in Rio for six weeks at the moment. Working but I hope enjoying Rio as well.
