I went on the train to Birmingham today to meet my 365 friend Joyce @thistle
Quite nervous about everything going well, would I find her in the right place, woukd we recognise each other, would we get on!!
No need to worry we got on fine as all us 365ers do.
She showed me some lovely bits of Birmingham, the most impressive being the public library which was a magnificent building, more another day.
Joyce was lovely & I really enjoyed my brief time with her....she is a very good walker!!

Three good things:
1. I managed to use the train line ap & had my ticket on my iPhone.
2. Lovely mango ice cream.
3. I have been growing my hair a bit longer, this photo confirms that I need to have it cut!!
@brennieb we did Brenda, Birmingham is a great place. If you only visited the New Street railway station you could spend a day in there shopping & eating!

Birmingham City Centre seems to have been rejuvenated quite a lot and yes the New Street Station has undergone an impressive face lift
No I didn't see that Judith, I went on the train so no need to look at road numbers! There were lots of nice stylish buildings that were newish I imagine, I was impressed with Birmingham! Your Rachel will no the place well.
