Just a quick late photo tonight as we've been out all day!
A lovely if chilly walk up Beacon Fell, it looks quiet here but believe me at the top it was like Oxford street! So many walkers getting some fresh air & walking off the excesses of Christmas food.
A joint Skype with Ant & Jo & the boys this evening & then home to bed.
Lots of good things, too many to list!
Lacking in the commenting department I'm afraid but we're probably all the same just at the moment!
Our skype with Manchester didn't work - they couldn't hear us - too many people on skype! Just a nice distance behind to get this good photo! Saw the video too - joie de vivre!
Oh Pat we were all out for walks today it seems -- It is lovely to be out and about getting fresh air in our lungs - and be out in such lovely woodland setting ! (I slept nearly all evening after my outing -- tired but happy ! )
Like the trees and the light...can feel the hush which you always, seem to get in trees...was lovely sunny day for a walk..i unfortunately had a tummy bug/which I hardly get and was in bed most day...everyone else ok up to now!
@brennieb Sounds like the bug I had Brenda, nasty horrid thing & unfortunatly catching! Harry had a diluted version so hopefully the same in your house! It's miserable being ill at Christmas!
@maggiemae We had amazing reception on Skype yesterday Maggie, so much better in Hamilton where Ant & Jo are living temporarily. Hope it's the same when they move to Taupo! The video was fun wasn't it?
fabulous Pat , what a great location.
You need to shout at the people (I assume they are in your party) to get them to move a little to the right so they break the horizon (Or even wait until the reach the top). Still a top shot though :)
@phil_howcroft there were some great silhouettes in that light patch Phil but the light overwhelmed them. I was disappointed I. Ouldnt get a better shot of that! I just lag behind & get my unruly party in any shot I can!!
