Beautiful forrests & views on our walk yesterday, no wonder it's such a popular place to visit.
We are having a quiet day today after being out of the house for most of the last three days.
Three goood things:
1. A time to regroup & give our little cat Lily some company.
2. Turkey & chips tonight!
3. Blackpool Tower lit up all red for Christmas!
I think I'll take a good walk tomorrow ...feel like one...i made turkey and ham pie tonight.puff pastry..all with white sauce .a touch of cheese peas and onions....so tasty....but only a small piece for me !
It must be quite cool in a forest on a winter's day but great to see the big trees towering above you while walking! Ways of eating turkey for the next 7 days!
@maggiemae well we had it with chips tonight, best meal of Christmas! Tomorrow it will be fried up with onions then peas added & gravy, that's good. Might be some left for curry but I think I will freeze any by then, we'll be fed up with it!
I could do with a cool walk in the forrest today Pat to escape the hot and sticky weather. I love all your ideas for Christmas leftovers Pat. We had cold salads for Christmas so have not much left over this year. Our daughter and grandson are vegetarians so we didnt need to have a hot meal on a hot day.
