A terrible day weatherwise today with lots of heavy rain & it's so cold too.
A day inside staying warm so no photos today!
I took this on the hip as I didn't want to look as if I was prying! It isn't as clear as I would have liked as I just took a quick shot but it's OK.
I do like station shots but you have to be so careful so a hip shot is good.
Three good things:
1. No need to go out today!
2. All Christmas decorations packed away tidily in the attic.
3. A turkey leg in the oven!
This is a wonderful shot, Pat! It's not easy getting candids. You never know how people are going to react. Well done shooting from the hip. :)
Stay warm and cozy on your wet, cold day! We're expecting a hefty snowfall overnight tonight which is very exciting as it rarely snows here.
@peggysirk I just aim wildly Peggy & amazingly this one didn't even need straightening! Slightly out if focus but I always feel so guilty & rush the shot. They turned & looked at me too, I cringed in case they tackled me!
Nice candid shot showing a farewell. I just point the camera in all directions - ceiling, down the line, then the people - nobody knows when the button is clicked I could be a rail enthusiast!
You mean there is a turkey running around now with only one leg?
Great shot, it tells a story. Brought back memories of the number of railway stations David and I have stood on before we were married, as he returned to various RAF stations.
