Two hundred & fifty cows cross the road on their way to the milking shed this afternoon.
William getting his cows up for afternoon milking.
Before they cross the road he pulls a carpet across so that the road stays clean.
It did rain a little in the night & there were actually puddles this morning but nowhere near enough the rain they need.
It's been very cloudy & muggy all day today but a warm wind.
When I got out of the air conditioned car my glasses steamed up in the warm atmosphere!
Had a lovely meet up with two friends this morning, good to catch up with all the news.
Afterwards Lesley took me into Matamata.
Had a mass speaker on phone call with all the family back home in the UK this morning.
Wonderful farm shot! Reminds me of a railroad crossing. I'm wondering how long it takes for 250 cows to cross the road. How thoughtful of William to cover the road. Hoping that area gets more much needed rain. And how fun that you had a get together with friends. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time in NZ!
My glasses have been steaming up here too at the moment, it is so humid.
