I sat in the garden reading my book while everyone else went to a children's party, I opted out!
Reading one of Jo's books called In Order to Live. It's about a girl & her family escaping from North Korea, very good it is too.
Molly ( one of the two dogs) & I went a little walk along the path & thought this was a rather nice scene.
It's the view across to the hills from Ant & Jo's new drive.
We went to the excellent farmers market in Taupo this morning. We bought fresh fruit, things to eat & I also bought bought a rather nice hessian bag!
Brian & Lesley have gone to see Bruce Springsteen in Auckland.
Gorgeous view - can't understand why you would want to opt out of a seeing a heap of sugar-filled children! A couple of our lot have gone the the Springsteen concert too.
This is simply gorgeous! I can see why you opted out of the kids party to stay behind to read and relax. So beautiful and peaceful. I'm certain Brian and Lesley had a great time at the Springsteen concert! As much as I like Springsteen, at this stage of my life I think I'd pick going to the farmers market over the concert. :)
Wise move to opt out of the Kids party ... what a fantastic look out.. would of like to have gone to 'The Boss's concert as well.. but family commitments..
