After a very busy day we had a lovely evening at Kinloch.
The boys had a kayak & new life vests so we felt much easier letting them into the water.
Max was amazing & took to the kayak immediately, going out round the pontoon & even took Finn out too with dad & mum watching closely.
A long day for both boys, Max at school & Finn on his second day at kindy.
We pottered round Taupo, going to the Lava glass blowing place, checking out the kayak adventure experience before Jo uses her birthday voucher.
We had an Indian meal overlooking the lake, I must say proper Indian is a much superior thing to an Indian ready meal!
I swam in the lake too, I have been dithering for days but had to do it tonight, once in it was lovely!
I'm pleased with myself!
Loving all these photos and what you are doing...well done the boys...great life for them..yes.agree about the indian meals..don't do often as can't do hot...but do like mild ones...good on your swimming girl!
@brennieb Thanks Brenda, am pleased with myself because I'm not a great swimmer only going when I'm in NZ so it's a year between swims! Only mild Indian today for us!
Glad you got to taste a "real" Indian meal. One of our favourites. Was the water cold. I think it would have to be the hot springs for me to venture in
