Ironman Taupo

A big weekend for Taupo as the Ironman competition is held in the town.
Everywhere there are competitors practising course, running, cycling & swimming.

Today after dropping Max & Finn at their respective schools/Kindy we had lunch on the shore front & We had a coffee with one of Jo's friends who is competing.

Loved these red Ironman signs & the red bikes.

Bumped into @andreajoy twice in town!!

Forgot to say that we went to Max's assembly at school this morning. It was great to see him singing the NZ national anthem in Maori, every word perfect!

You will probably watch these guys dripping with sweat and looking exhausted from a comfy position at a cafe in Taupo? We watched in one year. Didn't see this great scene - its a big affair!
