We had a lazy morning after the long day at Ironman yesterday. Ant & Jo said it was an amazing night watching the contestants come home & cross the finishing line.
Some had set off at 7am & the last qualifying time to be a registered Ironman was midnight. One woman crossed the line with half a minute to spare, such dedication to sport!! Lots of cheering on by everyone watching!
We have had a lovely meal together at a really nice restaurant in Taupo this evening & now it's time to pack.
I love the composition and your dear wee boys on the bridge. I imagine you'll start counting down the days until the next visit. Thank goodness for Skype!
Such a beautiful capture Pat! Sad to be leaving I am sure! Safe journey home. The world is such a smaller place these days and communication so easy but it's always lovely to be able to spend time with your family! Fav!
Thank you all for your continued comments while I have been doing 365 the easy way! Fly home on Friday from NZ, spending a few days in Auckland with number one son first.
A beautiful shot Pat , I am sure you are sad to leave - but as all good things must come to an end ! I am sure Harry will be glad to see you home again !
You must have had real quality time - as they call it - with your family in this great place! So good for the children to know their grandparents who live so far away.
