I have no idea where I took this photo but I know you have to keep looking upwards in London. There is a wonderful mixture of very old buildings juxtapositioning with the amazing new modern structures.
I had to go to the walk in centre at Guys hospital first thing this morning. I was lucky as it was just at the back of our premier inn. Turns out my rash is shingles. Five very large tablets a day for a week.
I feel ok at the moment so bearing up.
certainly looking up....even makes me tilt my head looking at the photo.
sounds caught early as they given you the tablets. not nice shingles.. take care
Great shot and love the way trees are included amongst the grey!
Glad you got tablets and hope they help....good to get it checked out early. Sometimes very painful but when I had it I didn't really feel too sore, just tired. x
Oh no!! We're resting our legs before tea! Done british museum, riding round on tube, saw the cutty shark and taken the river boat down to houses of parliament which was fabulous, we never go to a big city centre so even a trip to waterstones was exciting to sammy who got the latest from a favourite author! Enjoy your evening hope you feel okay and sleep well.
So much to see in London - a bit the same in all the big cities. Old buildings remain if they are lucky and the new ones are more efficient. The pills if taken within 72 hours of the rash appearing will be most effective. A cool compress helps with the pain. John had shingles after his radiation treatment - more susceptible when vulnerable!
Oh no. Hope the shingles doesn't mar your visit to London too much. I believe it can be very painful. Everyone in our age bracket at the moment is being vaccinated against shingles. Think I will join the clan.
So sorry to hear that you have caught the dreaded shingles but good that you caught it early. I have just had my vaccination as its not something I'd like to contend with. Take it easy now for a while
