Our hens love this tree in their little field & spend most of the heat of the day sheltering under the low leaves.
It is very hot!
Three good things:
1. I have been back to Dunelm Mill & bought another set of linen sheets, so cool!
2. A lovely card from my weekend b&bers, I was very touched!
3. I emptied the ice cream tub tonight, Harry has missed out because he isn't home yet!
@brennieb half price Brenda! I was a bit doubtful whether we would like them but they are brilliant to sleep on & wash really well, dry slightly crumpled but that's the look.
Your girls have found the perfect spot to stay cool. Don't worry too much about the heat. If I remember the UK rightly it won't stay hot for long. Probably down to about 16 degrees and winter weather again by tomorrow.
Enjoy the heat while it is there! As Babs says, it will turn cold soon. Its down to 15deg from the usual 25deg here in Ottawa. Nice to see the hens clucking away under the bush!
