One of my favourite places, this is the old calf shipon at Sizergh Barn now a place selling lovely rustic house stuff.
The floor is flagged & very uneven with stone boskins separating the different stalls. It's below ground so I think that the modern calf is very lucky to have more modern airy places to grow up these days.
Full of character it's just one of the three floors here at Sizergh.
Three good things:
1. Another load to the charity shop, I feel bad sometimes dumping my unwanted stuff on them but they seem to be pleased when I drop it off!
2. A lovely story about Finn from his Kindy in NZ. The Kindy websites in NZ are so good at keeping overseas relations up to date on little grandchildren!
Pictures & stories about Finn making pancakes in the garden at My Treehut, he has settled back in so well again!
3. An invitation!
Looks a great place to find something interesting for the house. Modern technology certainly makes keeping in contact so much easier! Good to hear Finn has settled back nicely.
Looks like my sort of place to poke around.. sure to find something there.. great to be able to have regular contact with the kiwi boys and see how the are doing
